Ethically Sourced Jeweler
It matters where it comes from.
At Fredric H. Rubel, where your gemstones and metals are mined matters. As an Ethically Sourced Jeweler, we believe it’s our commitment to our community, and to the world community to ensure we care about our earth and take social responsibility seriously. We are committed to selling ethically sourced diamonds, gemstones, and metals that were mined and manufactured in harmony with the environment and human interest. We support and only sell natural, conflict-free diamonds, and we will never knowingly offer a conflict diamond for sale. Our vendor’s matter. And, we only source vendors who submit to the same high standards as we do.
We adhere to the Kimberley Process – a certification that requires each shipment of rough diamonds to be in a tamper-resistant container and accompanied by a government-validated certificate.

About the Kimberley Process
The Kimberley process regulates diamonds by ensuring that every diamond is certified as conflict-free before it enters the legitimate diamond trade. These standards are upheld through a series of import, export, and internal controls in order to ensure the diamond is sourced ethically from mining all the way through the final sale to the consumer.

Responsible Gold Mining
It doesn’t stop with responsible diamond sources. At Fredic H. Rubel, we also source our gold from suppliers that adhere to the highest possible mining standards, including those that are committed to the environmentally-friendly removal of gold from the earth and those that provide a standard of work and a fair living wage for their miners.
